SEND

At Phoenix Primary School, the SENCo is responsible for managing the SEN provision. Charlotte Barlow is our SENCo. She can be contacted at school on 0151 228 3831. Please try not to worry if you or your child's teacher believes your child may have Special Educational Needs. There are lots of people in school who can help, and we will do all we can to make sure your child receives the support they need. If you have any questions or queries about Special Educational Needs at any point during your child's time at our school, please do not hesitate to contact Charlotte Barlow at the school.

We have an on-site Enhanced Provision. More information can be found below:

If your child needs medicine throughout the school day, please pop into the office, and we can provide a 'Medicine in school' form, which will need to be completed before we can administer medication at school.

SEND Information

You may be aware of documents called EHC plans. An education, health and care (EHC) plan is for children and young people aged up to 25 who need more support than is available through special educational needs support.EHC plans identify educational, health and social needs and set out the additional support to meet those needs.
